Av. Fethi MERDİVAN

Fethi Merdivan has graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in year 1988 and started his career as a Candidate Judge in 1990 and respectively worked as Judge, Inspector, Rapporteur Judge for Ministry of Justice and finally as a Judge in Ankara Court of Industrial and Intellectual Property Rights between 2003-2018. 

After his retirement as of 2018, he has been working on academical and professional aspects of IP Law/ IP disputes as legal advisor, lawyer and lecturer. 

Fethi Merdivan had numerous presentations in many national and international seminers and congresses organised by Supreme Court, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Culture, Scientific and Technological Research Counsil of Turkey, Union of Turkish Bar Associations,Ankara/İstanbul Bar Association, TAIEX, leading Turkish Universities, Employee Associations and Public Institutions in filed of IP and is the owner of numerous essays, papers. He is the co-author of the Commentary named “Interpretation of Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works” in volume I & II. 

He natively speaks Turkish and is intermediate in English.
